Phase 1A of the National Maritime Heritage Complex at Lothal will feature the NMHC museum with six galleries.
One of them — an Indian Navy and Coast Guard gallery — is expected to be among the largest of its kind in the country.
The gallery will display external naval artefacts such as the decommissioned warship INS Nishank, a Sea Harrier war aircraft and a UH-3 helicopter.
A replica model of the ancient Lothal township and a jetty walkway are also part of Phase 1A.
Work on Phase 1A began in March 2022 and has crossed 60% physical progress, marking a major milestone in the delivery of the maritime heritage project.
Secure a plot in the NMHC corridor before full-scale development matures.
